The Great Gatsby is a famous novel written by F. Scott Fitzgerald and published in 1925. It is considered one of the greatest works of American literature. It follows a man named Jay Gatsby, a mysterious, wealthy young man who throws extravagant parties hoping to reunite with Daisy Buchanan, a woman he loved years ago. Daisy, however, is now married to another man, Tom Buchanan. The story is narrated by Nick Carraway, Gatsby’s neighbor, who gets drawn into the drama of love, wealth, and betrayal.
